FollowersAlfons Maria Mucha (Alphonse Mucha) was a Czech painter and decorative artist. He worked in Moravia, moved to Vienna in 1879, trained at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts then moved to Paris in 1887 where he developed a long-term association with Sarah Bernhardt. He gained international exposure at the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris. He was arrested by the Gestapo in 1939 but was released and died soon after. The tennis player Ivan Lendl has one of the largest collections of Mucha's works
