Christmas Village- North Pole.  I carved the mountains with a hotwire foam factory tool out of styrofoam.  I mounted extra village lights between the sheets to add dimension and a light effect. 2015 North Pole.

The lucite ice river takes shape as borders are glued around it.  On a completely temporary railroad or village setting you could use pebbles or some such to hide the edges and give the river shape. Click for bigger photo.
