The circular seat is upholstered, has a walnut shaped edge and sits on a metal thread which adjusts the seat height when revolved.

The stool has a needlework and glass bead cushion pad of flowers and foliage.

The gilt brass frame is decorated with cast fruits and vines and is raised on three short legs in the shape of honeysuckle flowers.

The table has an adzed top with the signature 'Beaver' carved on the base.

The four chairs have a lattice carved back and drop in leather pad seats.

Colin Almack, who was trained by Robert "Mouseman" Thompson in the 1940's, was a Maker of bespoke furniture predominantly in oak with his trade mark 'the beaver' carved on all his pieces.
