This is community service--make it a Take Action project by a) creating a "how to" handout and giving copies to volunteer organizations that help the elderly; b) doing a community assessment to find other organizations that could use donations (faith-based orgs with a ministry for seniors, hospitals, clinics, etc) or c) creating a new group of volunteers who commit to making these year-round.
