Living in the lake districts I am strongly influenced by my surroundings. This particular piece is a abstract interpretation of my surroundings. When working I don't go in with a preconceived image of the finished picture nor do I sketch. I prefer to develop along with the piece,this is a wonderfully freeing way to work.
