So, this portrait is not done in watercolor and ink; it looks more like charcoal and gouache to me. However, I like the sketchy feel of this. I especially like how the majority of the body is only finished with loose line work, while there is a lot of attention paid to the face. I'll try to work that into all of my portraits whenever possible. (mark demsteader)
