A Baby Dedication Poem

A Baby Dedication Poem --- On February 2013 my husband and I dedicated our son Eliott to the Lord. Among family and friends we committed to raising our son according to God’s ways! Below is the dedication ceremony notes from our pastor and friend,…

A beautiful letter from a mother to a daughter or in my case, my grandmother to me! It's really important, I think, to stand still with the fact, your beloved ones become older and if this is what they want, we must give it to them! The same as they gave that to us! <3

I love this beautiful letter about aging, love and the cycles of life. I have found it in many places online, but had a hard time tracking down the origins.

I am here with a few people. Cutting off those people. My time is too damn valuable for selfish fools

Never push a loyal person to the point where they no longer care. A loyal person is far to valuable to risk losing them.

I felt you. You were a pea. Then a lemon. Then an eggplant. I followed advice. I read twelve books. I quit coffee. Could you tell I was scared? I talked to you, sang to you... I wasn't ready. But then you were here. Ten toes. Eight pounds. Love. Big fat love. I held you. I fed you. I realized that I would spend my life doing things to make you happy -- and that that would make me happy. And then there are the times I want to give up. You've made me rethink my sanity....

You were a pea. Then a lemon. Then an eggplant. This quote would be a great first or last dedication page in the scrapbook.

My Daughter--perfect for the dedication in her 5th grade yearbook! (and later!):

For my daughter, i love you babygirl your the best thing that ever happened to me ive learned to love a love a never knew til you were placed in my arms. I LOVE YOU!
