"I Was Speechless. But Deep Down I Knew": Couple Has 2 Newborn Babies Just 4 Months Apart in Miracle Adoption Story Black Baby Boys, Newborn Black Babies, Adoption Stories, Biggest Fears, Adopting A Child, Single Dads, 13 Year Olds, Triplets

When I was 13 years old, I found out I would never be able to have children. It was then that I started researching adoption. As I grew older my biggest fear was to have to someday tell a prospective spouse that I would never be able to birth our children. Then I met Jason. He was a single dad to 2 wonderful little boys and we fell head over heels.

My twins are eleven days old, and they're so beautiful I can barely look at them. I'm wildly, deeply in love with them, feeling all the feelings I felt when my older two daughters were born. In spite of these feelings (and, paradoxically, because of them), my husband and I chose not to raise these girls ourselves, instead placing them with an adoptive family.
