The Hotel del Salto is located near Tequendama Falls, Bogotá River, Colombia. It was opened in 1924 and closed down in the 1990′s. Some people say that the hotel was haunted and no one wanted to stay there. Others say that the river was very polluted, and this was the reason to shut down the hotel. It is on a cliff overlooking the magnificent waterfall.

I don't have an interest in going to Columbia but, this is beautiful. Deserted Places: The Haunted Hotel del Salto at Tequendama Falls near Bogota, Columbia.

La Candelaria is a historic neighborhood in downtown Bogotá, Colombia. It is the equivalent to the Old City in other cities. The architecture of the old houses, churches and buildings has Spanish Colonial, Baroque and art deco styles.

Santa Marta, Colombia

A busy port, it was also the first Spanish settlement in Colombia. It’s the gateway for trips to the Tayrona National Natural Park, and for multiday guided treks to the Lost City (Teyuna) archaeological site in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains.
