1920s Inspired Silk Garters with Pink and Coral Flowers

This garter set is my personal favorite, inspired by a 1920s Boue Soeurs dress at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The cascading flowers are meticulously hand made by me in pale pink and coral silk satin. Each flower hangs on the green soutache cording below chartreuse silk satin leaves. Garters from Previously are constructed using the same technique as vintage garters from the 1920's. The 100% silk taffeta ribbon and cotton fabric lining are sewn directly to the elastic which provides a…
