The Iceberg that Sank Titanic
The Iceberg that Sank Titanic | National Museum of American History
One of the amazing paintings by Ken Marschall, this is a side view of RMS Titanic from when she was anchored off Cherbourg, France. It is about sunset on April 10, 1912. The small tender Nomadic (the last surviving White Star Line ship) is bringing passengers from the small harbor to Titanic’s gangway for boarding the vessel. Some of Titanic’s wealthiest passengers boarded here (including the Astor’s and their friend Margaret “Unsinkable Molly” Brown), as well as immigrants from all over Europe Titanic Movie, Titanic Wreck, Belfast, Film Catastrophe, Wrack, Cherbourg, Cunard
