Here is a beautiful Vaseline Opal Tobacco or Cookie Jar. This pattern is known as Cherry Thumbprint, Cherry and Cable, Cherry with Thumbprint(s) or Paneled Cherry; call it what you want, I just call it beautiful. This wonderful jar stands about 10" tall and 6" in diameter and was handmade in the U.S. by the well-known glassmaker Mosser.
