106. Members of Savage's family and artist Alfred Lambourne enjoy a private car provided by Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad. Both D&RG and Union Pacific gave Savage access to private cars as well as free passes over their lines. They were anxious to have him photograph scenery along their routes.
