First Grade Phonics

Teaching the soft sounds of C & G can be tricky business! It takes a lot of practice to master this phonics skill. One activity I use is Write the Room. This activity is engaging & fun AND gets your students up and moving. It's perfect as an independent small group ELA center, station, rotation.
