This fellow had just returned from a successful late evening fishing trip, the sun had just set over the western hills, and their was just enough light to catch it landing on its perch just below its man made nest. You could nearly mistake it for showing off its catch, "here it is, did you get the shot?"
Saw this beautiful bird not far form its nest having a feed on a timber light stand down in Ballina NSW. While he was devouring his mornings catch, pulling the fish apart peace by peace, he over balanced and needed to steady himself with his wings
