Coyote Oldman is the name for flautist Michael Graham Allen and electronics composer and multi-instrumentalist Barry Stramp. Native American influences certainly run deep, with the pair conjuring beautifully the stillness before a hawk takes to the air, or a fish jumps into a quiet stream. The all-acoustic Floating on Evening: Songs From Otter River features Allen on South American pan flutes, ancient Native American flutes, and medicine whistles, with Stramp on acoustic piano and guitar.
