When I got my first pony at 7 years old my poor parents who are NOT horse people were lucky enough to have a friend who was. SO, pony and I went to her house, him to live, me to learn to ride. My parents' friend had a lovely blue and white 6-8 stall with pastures and a nice sized arena. The barn was white with blue shutters - or maybe the house had the blue shutters?
