Week Arbat Street in Moscow is one of the most famous pedestrian destinations. There is no car access to this street. It is full of historic architecture, restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities.
Week 10. Boston Quincy Market pedestrian walk is very lively and famous destination. Due to architectural richness and ability to move there safely, this place attracts amount of people every day. Quincy Market also represents food culture which is so important for people today.
Week San Francisco exploratorium is the great example of sustainable architecture. The roof holds megawatt photovoltaic array. Water is used for building heating and cooling. Used materials are sustainable and can withstand maritime climate.
Week Here is sustainable living pavillion in New York. It consists mostly of milk crates and plants which are inserted into crates. The structure is shade and wind tolerant and can be easily removed after summer season.
Week My goal was to minimize car presence as much as possible. The great example is Times Square in New York. Making people dominating on the street would make cars uncomfortable so they will start picking up other routes.
Week My proposal is to maximize pedestrian space adding biking and minimizing car moment. Cars would feel uncomfortable just having one available lane so they would start rerouting their road avoiding this place.
