At the beginning, it can be hard to know what topics to tap on…so here is a tip for you to get started! Start writing a list of all the uncomfortable feelings or unwanted behaviors you have in your life…write it all down – NO FILTERS, please! Then, when you begin tapping, focus on one of those feelings or behaviors while you tap…sometimes, you can even group a few together when they seem to be connected and collapse them all at once!
There are so many ways of tapping and today I am really curious about all the tappers out there… do you tap on your own or with friends? I actually love doing both, but I usually take time to tap on my own every day depending on my feelings, my routine, my work schedule and then I make a special point of tapping with others when I can… what about you?

Who can stop an avalanche once it has started? Not me, that’s for sure…so, I find it is better to intervene before my emotions become an avalanche that consume me…leading me to consume a volume and type of food that I otherwise would not if I was feeling my best. Tapping helps me pause BEFORE the avalanche starts. I can step back from the food, take a breathe and examine my feelings from a SAFE space which helps me to heal and move on without binging or eating emotionally.
There are lots of ways to benefit from tapping!! Tapping in a group or with a buddy or a coach can bring along with it more gains than just tapping on your own. The good feeling and deep internal shift that you witness taking place within the other person also provides you with borrowed benefits.
