As a child I was always fascinated by the nativity scene. We had old painted figurines as well as a rather nondescript wooden structure that housed them. It was always a struggle to arrange them, as whatever I did was undone by my brother, and vice versa, but the one thing that sticks with me is that they were extremely crowded.
