Velveteen stamping

Here's another card for Hero Arts one-layer challenge. I wanted to do the Velveteen Stamping technique again, and I think this may be my most successful try at it. Basically you stamp an underlying pattern on the card in white ink, and then overstamp solid images in colors, and if all the planets align, the first pattern shows through the top ones, creating a fun design! Here's my card: I stamped the Winnie & Walter sentiment first on an angle, then masked the sentiment and overstamped the…

Cricut Cow Card by Purple Monkey Moments. Create a Critter Cartridge. *

Purple Monkey Moments

Today's card is quick and simple. I cut her out on my Gypsy at 3.9 inches, so it would fit in an A2 envelope. I made it for my daughter, who wanted me to cut her the cow on Create a Critter. We all love that cartridge :) The paper is a mix of Walmart stuff and StampinUp. I used Lots of Pun stamp by Joy's Life, Memento Ink, stickles to bling up her horns and the pink bow, StampinUp ribbon. Challenges I am submitting this for: Made by Momo - black, white and on other color - I chose pink Paper…

Here's a bright yellow and black bee card using two new sets from The {Stamps} of Life, bee4me and hive4bees. There are bees of different sizes, some solid and others that are line art to color, along with sentiments for various occasions, a hive, and a bee trail...you can mix and match all kinds of cute scenes! There's another coordinating…

handmade card ... Asian feel ... watercolored cherry blossoms .... luv the presentation over a smaller square panel of wood grain embossed paper ... delightful!

watercolored cherry blossoms (Moxie Fab, SSS, ATCAS)

Have I mentioned I can't get enough of the watercolor trend ;) You may have seen this card inspired by the crab apple in my front yard. Well today I was inspired by the Japanese cherry in the backyard. And the Pretty Pink Petits Fours at Moxie Fab. What delicate beauty. Which translated to cherry blossoms in my mind. So I reached for some crepe paper and a potion leftover from a card I made for a submission call (didn't get picked but I'll share with you later. Happy dance for the four that…
