Orion the Hunter. Sirius (the brightest star in our sky) - which marks Canis Major, Canis Minor, and Lepus. On February evenings, look south (from northern latitudes) to find Orion. Use the bright stars of his belt to locate Canis Major, Canis Minor, and Lepus.
