Tomorrow June 6th we will be at the Sweetgrass Basket Festival under the bridge on the Mount Pleasant side at the Sweetgrass Pavilion. This annual festival has been held here in the Mount Pleasant area every June for many many years. This is the first year that Corey Alston's, Gullah Woven Photos will appear as one of the vendors. Come on out and enjoy this wonderful family activity of music, foods, Gullah Arts.

One of first places Gullah Sweetgrass Basket were first sold was the highways of Mount Pleasant SC. Still to this day the basket stands have the right away to the highway; making all business, restaurants, banks and hospitals having to be placed behind the stands.
