This page shows fanciful and artistic representations of the best rides that Disneyland has to offer!
In the 1980s Imagineer Tony Baxter was asked to improve guest traffic around Pirates of the Caribbean. The queue for Pirates would block the walkway into New Orleans Square. Baxter created the current configuration, with the queue going under a themed footbridge. For Walt's old Royal Suite, above, Baxter designed a pair of staircases to hug the footbridge and frame the building exterior. Baxter thought a beautiful place like Walt's suite should be seen by park guests. Photo: Kevin Crone
