Species: Dioptase, Shattuckite Locality: Kaokoveld Plateau, Kunene Region, Namibia Dimensions: 5.0 x 4.0 x 6.0 cm Namibia's Kaokoveld Plateau has become well-known for it's colorful and rare copper silicate minerals, including shattuckite, and malachite. This is a beautiful miniature-sized specimen featuring several lustrous, large, dark blue-green crystals of dioptase (dounbly-terminated to 2.3 cm) on a matrix of vibrant sky-blue shattuckite.
