Using the power of combined effort--students in a class taking notes together--can be helpful. Google Docs (a feature of Google Drive) allows groups of students to take notes in the same place. Although a combined notetaking effort doesn’t replace regular class attendance, it can assist you in remembering the most important concepts discussed during each class session.
Boredom has long been a problem in education. Students deal with boredom in different ways, but those who feel that boredom resides within themselves (and not the teacher or the setting) are better able to change the situation and benefit from what the class has to offer.
