CD 211 BROOKFIELD Green Aqua; "No leak"!

CD 211 BROOKFIELD (glass insulator) Color: Green Aqua Description: Base chip, inner skirt chip, the rest is about VNM. This "no-leak" insulator, in conjunction with the liner (missing), was designed to prevent dirt and moisture, which would increase leakage from the line wire to the pin. An elongated bubble in the center adds a little character! (#7174)

CD 149 "Burbrook", Rich Yellow Green; Stunning glowing color!

CD 149 "Burbrook" (glass insulator) Color: Rich Yellow Green Description: This amazing colored "pointed bullet" insulator is designated the "Burbrook" Extra Deep Groove Double Petticoat in the 1907 Stuart-Howland Catalogue. 3/8" inner skirt chip, 3/8" base flake, otherwise very near mint. We have never seen a "Burbrook" in anything close to this bright stunning color for sale. A once in a lifetime chance? Don't miss out!

CD 208, CALIFORNIA, Smoke

An insulator nickname the "Cross Top" or "Top Groove Hot Cross Bun" insulator. This insulator was made by the California Glass Insulator Company / California Glass Works in Long Beach, California (1912-1916). The majority of these were used around the Stampede Pass area of the Washington Cascade Mountain Range. CD 1066 SEDIVER A22 {France} (glass insulator) Color: Glowing Limey Apple Green Description: Very, very near mint. A large 4" tall spool with a 5 1/2" diameter. The U.S. spools usually have the top of the pinhole broken out, leaving a rough edge, but this pinhole is carefully polished. Sediver is still active today, and since the early 60's, they have been doing business with utilities in the United States. CD 164 White Milk w/ Butterscotch Swirls;

CD 164 MAYDWELL-20, White Milk w/ Butterscotch Swirls; uncommon color variant

CD 164 MAYDWELL-20 (glass insulator) Color: White Milk w/ Butterscotch Swirls Description: Mint. Most of the white milk MAYDWELL-20's are pure white in color or have a very slight tint such as lot 64. This one is quite unusual in that it has strong butterscotch swirls, giving it more of an overall yellowish color. Contrast this with the pure white lot 62 and you can see a significant difference! Quite an unusual and uncommon variant!

CD 121 CALIFORNIA, "Peachy Pink"; Unusual color!

CD 121 CALIFORNIA (glass insulator) Color: "Peachy Pink" Description: An area of wire ridge flaking, otherwise about VNM. Charles called this "Peachy Pink." We'll leave it up to the "Cal" collectors to decide for sure! Take a look and see what you think! (#1808)

CD 133.4 {Unembossed}, Purple; Classic bullet!

CD 133.4 {Unembossed} (glass insulator) Color: Purple Description: Flaking around the base of the skirt likely due to an overpour, a fingernail flake on the wire ridge. Has characteristics of the "Wormser" bullet, a product of the Wormser Glass Company of southwestern Pennsylvania. Wormser produced many colorful unembossed CD 133.4 bullets. This is a great color in your classic bullet shape! (#0520)

CD 31 E.S.B. CO., Light Aqua

CD 31 E.S.B. CO. (battery rest) Color: Light Aqua Description: Excellent condition, a small 1/2" bruise on the innermost skirt. Produced by the Electric Storage Battery Company of Philadelphia, PA. Their trade name, "Chloride Accumulator," is embossed on the insulator. This medium-sized battery rest measures 4" in diameter, putting it right in the middle of your E.S.B. lineup!

CD 251 N.E.G.M.CO., Green w/ Amber Blending; A small New England cable for a change!

CD 251 N.E.G.M.CO. (glass insulator) Color: Green w/ Amber Blending Description: Two 1/2" flakes on one ear, 1/2" area of flaking on the inside of the sharp outer skirt otherwise very near mint. One can see some areas of amber blending, especially in the skirt. A nice cable style manufactured by the New England Glass Manufacturing Company.
