Pacific Crest Trail Oregon portion begins where the California portion ends in the Siskiyou Mountains. From there, it passes through the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument area before rising into the Cascade Range. Not far into the southern reaches of the Cascade Range, trekkers hit Crater Lake National Park, where some of the most spectacular scenery in the country can be savored. A spur trail breaks off from the PCT in Crater Lake National Park, and it leads to the crater’s rim.
